Still can't figure out what causes it, or how to avoid it unfortunately. I think that if you switch from a horse/saddle that has 7 outfits stored on it to one that can only carry 5 it deletes them. Basically, I can only save custom outfits 3 and 4. 1 and 2 were deleted but the game still thinks they're there and I can't access them to delete or wear them. I can't save any new outfits because "save outfit" is grayed out. Deleting 3 and 4 and making new outfits simply saves them as 3 and 4 again. 1 and 2 are lost.
