Swimming area too small, beach too crowded. Mar 2023. Mahogany Bay is owned by Carnival Corporation for the use of its various cruise lines, as such the beach area can get quite crowded when several mega ships are in port. It is very easy to reach the beach from the ship, just a 10 or 15 minute walk from the dock.
Mahogany Beach is a smaller alternative to Turtle Beach. Situated at the town’s east end, Mahogany Beach is an intimate attraction spot that comes to life on weekends with impromptu football matches, jerk cooking in the area, and loud music.
