First one on a new car I always do 500 miles. Good idea to change the diff oil then too. After that I go about 7,000 miles between changes using a top tier oil like Amsoil. On the Jeep my oil gauge gets to about 25% at the 7k mile mark. My Trans Am I do once a year but I never drive it.
