I’ve been playing Trombone for quite a while now and have a pretty good range that sounds good. I’m able to hit really high and have a full range Upper and lower except no matter how hard I try I can never hit a high G, I can hit a high A and Bb but not a high G. If I try to play it I usually go one partial higher or lower. For me what literally helps is playing G on the staff, then stopping the note, and try to listen to how it would sound. before i play the high G. Then I make sure my lips are relaxed and i'd go for it, keeping in mind the rest of my "tips". What also helps is telling yourself to "float" the note, making it sound effortless.
