The Hatfield SAS uses a unique operating system that blends gas and inertia. With fewer moving parts, this 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun from the Hatfield Gun Company functions more reliably than one that functions through gas or inertia alone. The gas piston moves a single inch, which then kicks the bolt rearward to start the operating cycle.
